Jennifer Lawrence Is a Deadly Spy in Red Sparrow Trailer

The movie also finds Lawrence reunited with her longtime Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence. If the film is even half as gripping as the trailer, audiences are in for a real treat come early next year.

Based on the novel of the same name by Jason Matthews, a former Central Intelligence Agency operative, Lawrence plays plays Dominika Egorova, a graduate of the Sparrow School, which trains agents in the art of seducing the enemy.

Based on Jason Matthews' best-selling novel, Lawrence stars as Dominika Egorova, a mysterious woman who has been trained by Sparrow School, known as a secret intelligent service that trains young adults to use their bodies and minds as tactics. However, when she meets an American CIA agent (played by Joel Edgerton) her allegiances are tested.
