From warm to cool and back again

A weak disturbance will approach the region from the west and that means clouds will overspread the state and we'll have a rising chance for showers during the late afternoon or evening. It's even warmer as we head back to the lower 80s for many spots. We will see another weak cold front on Monday of next week. Low temperatures Wednesday morning should be middle 40s under clear skies.

It should be partly cloudy and warm Friday and Saturday.

Cooler air and more clouds will build in for Friday as a "wedge" sets up. Expect sunshine on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid 70s. Nothing big - showers should be scattered, and rainfall totals should remain below a tenth of an inch.

Gateway Advisory Llc increased Vanguard Admiral Fds Inc (VIOG) stake by 4,182 shares to 20,488 valued at $2.74 million in 2017Q2. The firm owned 194,937 shares of the oil and gas company's stock after acquiring an additional 15,878 shares during the quarter.

We'll take another step towards seasonable temperatures on Wednesday, as clockwise flow around an area of high pressure to our north over eastern Canada will set up a cooler easterly flow off the Atlantic Ocean. Highs rebound into the upper 70's as storm chances return late weekend. We still see plenty of cloud cover during the day. Highs will be noticeably cooler as a cold air mass moves down from the northwest. I expect highs to range from upper 60s to mid 70s. Highs during the afternoon will reach around 80 degrees. The pattern will feature cloudy skies to start the day.

We saw a lovely Tuesday with much lower humidity, but well-above seasonable temperatures.
