Man United seeking Martial and Rakitic swap deal

Man United seeking Martial and Rakitic swap deal

Anthony Martial wants to stay at Manchester United and fight for his first team place despite reported interest from Arsenal, according to the Mirror.

Spurs are long-term admirers of the former Monaco forward, having failed to land him when he switched to United back in 2015.

Martial, 21, has started just four games across all competitions for Manchester United this season and has impressed with five goals and six assists.

With Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard pushing Anthony Martial down the pecking order it is believed that Mourinho is ready to allow his player to leave in order to boost the holding midfield position at Old Trafford.

The same report states that Arsenal are pondering making a move for Martial as the north London side prepare to lose Alexis Sanchez in one of the next two transfer windows.

The Nokia 9 looks like a sleek device, but the company is exhibiting an excess of courage by ditching the headphone jack. Now, it looks like Nokia has finalised the design of it's upcoming high-end smartphone, the long-rumoured Nokia 9.

Manchester Evening News claim that the France global is "very content" at United following his barnstorming start to the campaign.

However, word coming out of Manchester suggests Martial is more than happy with his situation under manager Jose Mourinho and is not looking to move away at any point in the near future.

Mourinho will attempt to persuade Barcelona to part with the Croatia worldwide by offering Martial in exchange, but there are major question marks over the validity of such a swap.

Rakitic had reportedly been unhappy under Valverde's managerial predecessor Luis Enrique, but seemingly has no intention of leaving or being sold with regular game time for his club at present. "I am very pleased with his attitude overall and then it's easier to play well".
