Triple killings: Search for suspect, child continues in Ohio

Authorities still are searching for a suspect, but have canceled the missing-child alert for a 7-year-old boy who was sought following an incident at a mobile home in southern OH that left three people dead and a fourth hospitalized.

Deputies found three adults fatally shot inside the home, according to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.

He had been missing following a shooting at a trailer on State Route 93 Tuesday evening.

An endangered missing child advisory has been issued for an 8-year-old Lawrence County boy who went missing from a crime scene involving a triple homicide. Authorities say "there is reason to believe Devin could be in danger or injured".

Investigators are searching for Aaron Lawson, 23, as a person of interest. Three adults inside were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a news release from Sheriff Jeff Lawless. This victim was suffering from apparent stab wounds to the neck and head and was flown by helicopter to Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Lawson was spotted by deputies driving a Blue Chevrolet truck around 12:30 a.m. and a pursuit ensued.

Police gave chase, and Lawson crashed his vehicle into a ditch. Deputies lost Lawson in a wooded area.

No names of any of the victims have been released due to police trying to notify relatives.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are on scene.

"Devin Holston is described as 4'8" tall, weighing around 80 lbs, with brown hair, and brown eyes.

An extensive search for Holston - who lived at the first residence - did not turn up the child.
