Black man beaten in Charlottesville turns self in on warrant

DeAndre Harris, 20, who is accused of unlawful wounding, was taken before a magistrate before being released on an unsecured bond.

The charge against Harris alleges that he wounded Crews shortly before Harris was beaten, in the vicinity of the same parking garage. Police won't reveal details of the warrant, including who made the complaint, until it is served.

Harris was left with a concussion, abrasions and contusions across his body, as well as a head laceration that required 10 staples, a knee injury and a fractured wrist after the clash, Merritt said.

Three men, Daniel Borden, Alex Ramos and Jacob Goodwin have been charged in connection with the beating. Harold Ray Crews, who identifies himself online as an attorney and "Southern Nationalist", has alleged that Harris injured him during the brawl.

Harris" attorney called the warrant "clearly retaliatory' and the fact the victim went to the magistrate shows that they likely tried and failed to complain to police first.

Korean lawmaker says N. Korea hacked war plans
On Saturday, a US nuclear-powered Los Angeles-class attack submarine arrived in South Korea . North Korea has yet to comment on either the bombing drills or the hacking claims.

DeAndre Harris, the 20-year-old black man beaten by white supremacists in a Charlottesville parking garage in August, turned himself in to authorities Thursday after being charged with a crime in connection to the attack.

But his lawyer told USA media his client has been unable to continue in the job because he now suffered fear and anxiety attacks in crowded public spaces.

White nationalist protesters returned to Charlottesville on 8 October for a brief, torch-lit rally.

A counter-protester, Heather Heyer, 32, was killed when a driver ploughed a auto into a crowd.
