Bulls' Nikola Mirotic hospitalized after fight with teammate Bobby Portis

The Bulls released a statement confirming reports that circulated around 5 PM about the incident at the Advocate Center.

On the eve of the National Basketball Association season, Chicago Bulls teammates Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic got into fight at practice, and Mirotic was beaten so badly, he had to be hospitalized.

According to Charania, Portis and Mirotić, who play the same position, got into a "shoving altercation", which ended with Portis throwing "an alleged cheap shot" to Mirotić's face. Surgery will likely be required.
