Dragon Ball FighterZ Lets Rip with a Western Release Date

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be releasing in the United States on January 26, 2018.

Previously set to launch in Japan on February 1, and in North America and Europe in "early 2018", Bandai Namco has today announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ will be launching on January 26, 2018.

In addition to the game's U.S. release date, Bandai Namco has also opened up digital pre-orders.

Recently, Xbox Live Store listed an Ultimate Edition of the game that is also available for pre-order on the store. Sadly, no Nintendo Switch version has been confirmed.

Last week, the latest issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ, the fighting game in development by Arc System Works for PC and consoles, will be getting additional DLC content after launch. A lot of hype is surrounding this release as the game plays and looks like the anime.

The anime music pack will feature fan favourite songs including "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA", "WE GOTTA POWER", and the most famous endings and background music!

Pre-ordering Dragon Ball FighterZ, meanwhile, will grant access to SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta, as well as two exclusive lobby avatars and early access to the game's Open Beta in early January.

Dragon Ball Fighterz cast includes numerous show's most memorable characters, including heroes like Goku, Gohan, and Kirllin, villains like Frieza, Cell, and Captain Ginyu, and baddies-turned-good like Vegeta, Android 18, and Piccolo.
