Veronica Mars star Brad Bufanda takes own life aged 34

The actor had also starred in Veronica Mars as recurring character Felix Toombs, and appeared in CSI: Miami.

According to Lt. David Smith of the Los Angeles County coroner's office, Bufanda died of traumatic injuries due to suicide after jumping off a building.

The rep for the actor said that the family is asking for privacy at this time. The 34-year-old actor was found in the 300 block of S. Fuller Avenue at about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, officials said. He reportedly left a note that was found on or near his body, which gave the names of his parents and included a "thank you" to people in his life. After high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a film career. He also appeared on other TV shows such as "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Days of Our Lives", and had a part in "A Cinderella Story". He was later a series regular on Cinemax's Co-Ed Confidential. His most recent listed credit is for a role in the upcoming movie Stan the Man.
