Airtel broadband customers can now carry forward data upto 1000GB

This "Data Rollover" facility will ensure Airtel broadband users to never waste any data that they pay for and continue enjoying a great online experience.

In a postpaid plan, generally the data offered doesn't get fully utilized.

The offer is available only on three newly-launched RED plans (Traveller, International and Signature) that offer "unprecedented telecom and value added benefits". Local, STD calls and national roaming are calls up to 200 minutes are free.

Apart from these benefits, this 499 Infinity Plan also comes with free subscription to Wynk Music and Airtel TV. For example, an Airtel broadband user consumes 150GB of their 200GB data plan will be able to use the remaining 50GB data in the next billing cycle.

Under the Rs 399 postpaid monthly plan, Airtel is now offering 10GB of 4G data and free local and STD incoming calls. The plan also gives users free Airtel Secure device protection plan for smartphones against physical damage and malware. Airtel postpaid users will now get 30GB, 40GB and 50GB of data for plans priced at Rs 649, Rs 799 and Rs 999 respectively.

On the other hand, the S&P BSE IT index rose by 41.50 points and Teck (technology, media and entertainment) index by 5.56 points. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex lost 151.95 or 0.46% at 33,218.81 with 22 components posting drop.

Bharti Airtel, India's largest mobile network by subscriber numbers, on Tuesday introduced "data rollover" facility for its home broadband customers.

The customers who are eligible for this facility can check it on the MyAirtel App.

Customers can accumulate up to 1,000 GB data and easily track their usage and balance data available on MyAirtel App. "It will allow customers to do more with their devices on India's leading smartphone network and always stay connected", company's COO Ajai Puri, COO said in a press statement.

The plan, however, falls short of Jio's Rs399 plan, which offers 1GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, free roaming with a validity of 70 days.
