Apple's Newest iPhone Update Finally Fixes That Annoying Autocorrect Bug

Apple has released iOS 11.1.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, primarily to fix an embarrassing autocorrect flaw.

The good news is that Apple pushed a update to iOS that specifically addressed the issue on Thursday, six days after the problem started cropping up.

The iOS 11.1.1 update is now available for your iPhone and iPad with hundreds of new features for the iPhone and iPad.

iOS 11 was released to the general public in September that brought quite a handful of forward-facing additions to the table.

That is for the 64GB model of Apple's new iPhone, the 256GB model will set you back $1,648.

Also, if you haven't been able to get Siri's attention of late by saying "Hey, Siri", well, Apple fixed that too in this update.

Apple Pay Cash is available on iOS 11.2, now available as a public beta 2 for developers and testers.

Apple Inc. first introduced its Apple Pay Cash feature, which allows peer-to-peer payments via iMessage, in June at its Worldwide Developers Conference, but the feature hadn't yet rolled out to iOS 11 users.

Apple finally has a fix for that keyboard bug that's been going around. Developers in the US reportedly saw the the Apple Pay Cash option appear in the Messages app on the iOS 11.2 beta this week.

When you receive money it will automatically be stored on your Apple Pay Cash card.

In a support document, Apple recommended using the iOS's text-replacement feature to work around the bug.
