Bezel-less iPad Pro renders envision what Apple could launch next year

Would it bother you to have a notch on your iPhone X and symmetrical bezels on your iPad Pro?

It looks like the iPad could be the next Apple product to get the Face ID treatment.

Apple's 2018 iPad will reportedly ditch the home button in favor of Face ID, a feature that made its debut on the iPhone X earlier this month, according to Bloomberg. Additionally, the new iPad will come with an upgraded processor, GPU, and Apple Pencil Stylus, which will come with a new set of software-enabled features. Apps that already support Touch ID will automatically support Face ID.

However, the new Pro tablet is unlikely to boast the OLED display offered by Apple's latest smartphone, those familiar with the matter said.

Oh no! Prime Minister Abe tumbles into bunker during round with Trump
In May, Mr Trump shocked the foodie world by ordering his $71 steak cooked "well done" and (gasp) smothering it in tomato sauce. It is the "most attractive golf club", Trump said, "and the most handsome weapon I've ever seen, so I thank you for that".

Removing that button, though, can drastically reduce the size of the iPad, even while maintaining the same 10.5-inch screen size. Apple already reduced the thickness of the edges on the 10.5-inch version vs. the 9.7-inch model it replaced, to maximize screen real estate, and it could go further still with additional space savings from reducing the "chin" of the front of the device. Apple did the same thing with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus this year.

The first tablet to mirror the most recognisable change of the iPhone X could arrive later next year, the sources say. It's certainly not a feature most people will want to take advantage of, but on the off chance it might be of some help to you, it's nice to know that it's there. But demand waned and global tablet sales declined 17 percent the past three years.

Apple allegedly still sees the iPad as the future of mainstream computing and continues investment in the series.
