Is Taylor Swift's Team Responsible For Perez Hilton's Twitter Account Being Suspended?

Last week, news broke that a Taylor Swift performance would be airing during Thursday's "Scandal" - just hours before her new album "reputation" goes live. But two follow-up songs - "Gorgeous" and "Call It What You Want" - are lighter and more bubbly, reminiscent of the melodic, pop-oriented Taylor Swift of "1989".

"Criticism is never pleasant, but a celebrity has to shake it off, even if the critique may damage her reputation", it stated, adding that "not even in your wildest dreams" could Swift's claims "constitute defamation".

In the post, Herning writes, "The idea that Taylor Swift is an icon of white supremacist, nationalists, and other fringe groups, seems to finally be getting mainstream attention".

"Reputation" is released on Friday 10th November and fans are on the edge of their seats waiting to take it in for the first time. Since "Look What You Made Me Do", fans are eager to uncover hidden messages in Swift's new songs.

Ben Affleck Casts Doubt on Batman Future
Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

The main takeaway is that some white supremacists may have embraced Swift's popular lyrics and music videos as supportive of their beliefs, and that Swift is racist for not publicly decrying them.

In a letter dated 25 October, Swift's lawyer accuses Ms Herning of defamation and demands the article's removal, alongside the publication of a full retraction. "The story is replete with demonstrable and offensive falsehoods which bear no relation to reality or the truth about Ms Swift".

Swift's lawyers weren't impressed with any such discussions.

The blog post's writer Meghan Herning turned to lawyers at the ACLU for help, and they have now penned their own letter which beings: "Ms Herning and PopFront will not in any way accede to your attempt to suppress their constitutionally protected speech". Swift's lawyer J. Douglas Baldridge sent Pinterest a stern letter, demanding the images be removed, but the social media network refused, BuzzFeed News reported. Speaking on behalf of Herning and the blog, whose slogan is "Culture + Politics from the Left Coast", ACLU attorney Michael Risher had this to say. Fans would remember that Swift has made her opinions about ad-supported streaming platforms, saying that it is unfair to artists and songwriters.
