Marouane Fellaini is taking a freakish case against New Balance

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, 29, is high on Turkish champions Besiktas transfer wishlist, according to talkSPORT.

The Manchester United star has been linked with a move to Istanbul and Albayrak was asked about the possibility of the Belgian signing for Besiktas: "We always have time for transfers, we always work for possible signings that'll make our team better".

'Although we cannot comment on pending litigation, New Balance can confirm that the company plans to vigorously defend itself and its longstanding record of manufacturing excellence and surpassing the needs of athletes around the world'.

Losing Fellaini next summer would serve as a detriment to the mettle of this Mourinho side, and supporters will just hope the club can tie up a new deal with the midfielder over the next month.

Having made the switch to Old Trafford from Everton in 2013, the player was then reunited with then-former boss David Moyes for the Red Devils.

Rohr to 'make six changes' for game against Algeria
On the global friendly against Argentina next Tuesday in Krasnodar, Rohr believes the match will serve several purposes as the team prepares ahead of the 2018 World Cup finals.

With 95 appearances to his name and 11 goals for United, Fellaini has yet to depart England for a fresh challenge.

Besiktas are now first in their Champions League Group and have lifted the Turkish Super League title for the past two seasons.

They had reportedly been watching around 20 live matches in order to scout for the best options that they would sign in the upcoming days.

In a recent interview with Turkish football, Albayrak stated that though the United man was not the only player they were tracking, the club did have an interest in signing him. Not only for Marouane, we are in talks with other players as well.
