Pixel 2 XL handsets now affected by display flashes upon unlock

Pixel 2 XL users have reported the issue on Pixel User Community.

The Google Pixel 2 XL users also reported that their units are having burn-in issues with the new P-OLED display and other devices are making clicking and high pitch frequency sounds. The latest problem is related to the OLED display of the Pixel 2 XL. Additionally, some Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL users are reporting problems with their handsets' microphone. "Just started happening this afternoon out of nowhere. I did reboot in Safe Mode and happened but once I rebooted normally it has not happened again", wrote the user. Turning off the ambient sensor is the temporary fix for the flashing screen issue on Pixel 2 XL. Still, some users preferred the saturated colors on screen. Google has always passed production tasks to an OEM and for the Pixel 2, the production duty is passed to LG. This seemingly confirms that the screen flashing issue is related to software.

If the Pixel User Community forums are any indication, it would seem that this is not an isolated incident, as many are chiming in with the same problem.

In a Bid to Combat Russia, NATO to Increase Cyber Weaponry, Tactics
At the end of the Cold War, Nato had some 22,000 personnel in 32 commands, but the alliance now has just 7,000 personnel in seven structures.

The company is also reportedly working on a December security patch, tipped to offer even more enhancements.

Well, these are based on mere speculations and we have to say that it is not LG's fault that the Pixel 2 came out with a major issue.

However, in a recent post, a user shared that they were able to resolve the problem by blowing into the bottom speaker. Blowing into the speaker like you would an old NES cartridge.
