Arsenal eye £35million Crystal Palace star as Sanchez replacement

According to the Sun this weekend, Arsenal are looking to sign Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha to replace Sanchez.

According to the Sun, the Londoners are prepared to launch a £35 million offer for the Ivory Coast worldwide.

Lacazette came off the bench with Arsenal trailing 2-0 to Manchester City before the 26-year-old halved the deficit within minutes of his introduction.

Palace headed into the global break rock bottom of the Premier League despite Zaha's displays and are effectively seven points from safety given their goal difference.

The winger has shown his importance for Crystal Palace this season, scoring two goals in five matches since returning from injury. He could leave in January in a cut price move, or next summer where he can walk away for nothing.

It's a little over six weeks until the January transfer window reopens.

The Gunners seem consigned to losing their Chilean forward, either when his contract expires next summer or in a deal in January. However the legendary Scot called time on his career before he arrived, and Zaha struggled to impress either David Moyes or Louis van Gaal and was subsequently sold back to Crystal Palace.

He has returned in fine form and has scored vital goals for the Eagles, including the victor against Chelsea and a late equaliser against West Ham. That makes it 2 goals in just 5 league appearances for the talented winger.
