Call of Duty: WW2 devs accidentally gave everyone double XP from launch

"This is only the beginning, so thank you for playing". As a result, the developers migrated online play to peer-to-peer (P2P) servers in an effort to provide a more stable experience.

Sledgehammer's Michael Condrey has revealed that Double XP was active on CoD: WWII since its launch on the 3rd of November.

Although originally launched with dedicated servers and a bustling social Headquarters feature, most PS4 & Xbox One users are left asking, "Why Am I alone in Headquarters?"

The problem here is that players are continually getting kicked off the game server thus adding to aggravation. What we're not fans of is the latest connectivity issues that have been plaguing the game.

Dedicated servers, meanwhile, are being tested in the USA ahead of a full roll out. "This weekend we rolled out various test solutions in limited markets in order to fully analyze real-world conditions without risking disruption. We'll watch this test closely, and once we analyse the results we'll look to expand".

As far as the social space known as Headquarters is concerned, it hasn't been working as intended by any means since it was unveiled.

Emissions Were Flat for Three Years. Now They're Rising Again
The budget took into account the amount of fossil fuels that nations around the world burn. Chinese emissions are projected to rise 3.5% (+0.7 to +5.4%) in 2017 (GDP up about 6.8%).

However, the good news is that developers are going to go back dedicated servers soon. Post-match disconnects, on the other hand, are also having a impact on players trying to complete in-game challenges.

"As we focus on the return to dedicated servers as our highest priority, we will continue to utilize a solo-HQ experience", the update continued.

"We're proud to pay tribute to these incredible heroes and want to invite the entire gaming community to celebrate their heroism and living memories".

For the time being, fixing Headquarters is low priority for Sledgehammer, and while it will get to fixing the social space, it is now focusing on "the most pressing concerns first".

Call of Duty WW2 may have its problems, but it doesn't appear to have affected sales. "We have the next PC Title Update ready to go, but we believe we need to work through the issues noted above first-many of which also affect PC players".
