Philippe Coutinho Says He's "100% Fit", Happy at Liverpool FC

Philippe Coutinho Says He's

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has allayed any fears of him carrying an injury, declaring himself as "100% fit" for action, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The Brazil global saw his proposed switch to the Nou Camp blocked by the Anfield hierarchy in August as the Reds refused to part ways with their star striker.

Barcelona are reportedly ready to return for the attacker, but Coutinho has insisted that he is happy with Liverpool and at the moment, has no desire to leave the club.

However, Coutinho insists he is not letting the ongoing transfer saga effect his focus, which for now sits with Brazil ahead of Tuesday's friendly worldwide against England.

"Unfortunately, I couldn't play for Liverpool in the last few games because of injury", Coutinho said at a press conference on Sunday.

'Now I feel 100% fit, I have recovered and I am in a good shape to be available for the game against England'.

Martin O'Neill wants Ireland to draw on past experiences
Offensively it wasn't that strong. "I hope they come up a little bit longer away from their own goal. I'm actually quite surprised by Denmark being odds-on for this first leg.

The Brazil global, seen as Andres Iniesta's successor in midfield, wants to play for Barcelona.

Turkey midfielder Arda does not form part of coach Ernesto Valverde's first-team plans and is attracting interest from his former club Galatasaray, while Arsenal have also been linked. "Football has been very generous for me".

And he says playing with Philippe Coutinho and under Jurgen Klopp is paying dividends for Brazil too.

Coutinho, who missed fixtures against West Ham, Maribor and Huddersfield Town due to the thigh problem, added: 'Every day, I work harder than before to improve myself and become a better all-around footballer. We are looking forward to battling with them.

"They have a lot of quality players who play in the Premier League, an important competition".
