Sadio Mane returns to Liverpool after suffering hamstring injury recurrence with Senegal

For the second worldwide break in a row, Liverpool star Sadio Mane has got injured.

Jurgen Klopp had recently spoken about his desire for Mane to return from worldwide duty early.

It was following the first qualifying clash with South Africa, played last Friday, that Mane reported feelings of the old injury.

Has he suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury?

The Senegal Football Federation released a statement that reads: "Following the match, South Africa against Senegal Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 in Polokwane, the player Sadio Mane slightly felt his old injury".

Pa. Christmas tree headed to New York City
The first Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was put up in 1931 by workers building the complex during the Great Depression. Once in NY, the tree will be covered in more than 50-thousand multi-colored LED lights and crowned with a Swarovski star.

Liverpool host Southampton on Saturday, and no doubt LFC Manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that this latest setback for Sadio Mane turns out to only be something very minor.

In fact, he was fit enough to play for Liverpool before the break, being given 77 minutes against West Ham in the team's final match before he headed off with Senegal.

Mane was released by Senegal and is on his way back to Merseyside to be assessed by Liverpool medical staff after complaining of a slight niggle relating to a previous problem, also picked up while on global duty in October.

For the second time this season, Reds star Sadio Mane has picked up an injury while away representing Senegal. They worked their magic once before and are likely in the best position to nurse the forward back to health once again.
