The bracket for the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament was released on Monday, with UNC earning the No. 3 overall seed after a fantastic regular season which saw the Tar Heels win the ACC Coastal Division. Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin all secured bids to the national tournament, which begins Thursday. The Panthers' hold an 11-1-4 record with its lone loss coming in the Conference USA tournament.

Wake Forest will open tournament play on Sunday at 5 p.m.at Spry Stadium.

It is the seventh time in the last nine seasons UNC has been among the top 16 seeds for the event.

The Irish are 18-17-2 (.514) all-time in NCAA Championship play, which includes a 17-13-2 record under Clark.

The Flames had previously downed Cleveland State 3-1 during the semifinal round on their way to claiming the fifth conference tournament championship victory in program history. The national quarterfinals will follow on December 1-2 at campus venues. As the top overall seed, Wake Forest has the opportunity to host through the NCAA Quarterfinals before the College Cup in Philadelphia.
