Devonta Freeman likely out for Week 11 showdown with Seahawks

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter, Freeman is "unlikely to play" in Week 11 after suffering his second concussion of the season on Sunday against the Cowboys.

Freeman suffered a concussion in the first quarter of Week 10's 27-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He suggested that much in a Twitter post on Sunday, saying he could tell Freeman was playing with a concussion during their week 9 matchup.

The team late announced Freeman has a concussion and would not return to the game. He exited the contest with just two carries for three yards.

Freeman was hurt on the Falcons' first offensive play when tackled by linebacker Anthony Hitchens and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence after a 1-yard gain. Last year, the Miami native once again made a trip to the Pro Bowl after finishing with 1,079 rushing yards and 11 more scores. Overall this season, Freeman has rushed for 515 yards and five touchdowns while also catching 19 passes for 137 yards. He also brought down 54 catches for 462 yards and two touchdowns. He was concussed in our game last week and should've been taken out.
