Singer Rita Ora hosted the star-studded awards show in London on Sunday, performing two songs herself and donning a slew of outfits - including a bathrobe on the red carpet.

Taylor Swift, who did not attend as she was busy on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, still became a trending topic on social media as fans thought she was snubbed for best video ("Look What You Made Me Do").

Other winners at the event, which celebrates the global music scene, included Coldplay (for best rock act), Dua Lipa (for best new act) and Zayn (for best look).
