Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle Are Leaving 'Suits' After Seven Seasons

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Adams and Markle are both eyeing to exit the legal drama after Season 7 as USA Network is nearing a deal to renew the series for another season.

Meghan has been dating Prince Harry since 2016 and Meghan has reportedly been making arrangements to move to London to live with her new partner.

Though Adams and Markle may slide away from the show after its seventh season, the door would remain open for them to return as guests or in recurring roles in future episodes. Patrick wants to pursue other things and he's realised his time at Suits has come to an end.

"I think Mike and Rachel are a classic Romeo-and-Juliet story", Adams told Vanity Fair. But she is not leaving alone. Adams had "made up his mind" about leaving.

Suits fans will be pleased to hear that Suits will continue into season eight and nine without Meghan and Patrick, with the source adding: "The show will still keep going".

Adams plays one of the leads: Mike Ross, a brilliant college dropout who was hired as an associate at a prestigious Manhattan law firm by attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) at the start of the series.

US Weekly also reveals how the two actors will exit from the show.

"There will be a wedding between Mike and Rachel at some point in the second half of season seven that will make it an easy break for Meghan to leave as well". This confirms that insider's claim.

Talks are taking place regarding a Season 8 renewal, but no agreement has been reached.

His and Meghan's contracts are up at the end of season seven, the current series, and he's believed to want to take some time off. Reports suggest that the makers are looking at renewing the show for the eighth season. "She loved being on the show, and we loved having her on the show, that's why we're doing the spin-off".
