"Meadow" - Stone Temple Pilots [YouTube Audio Single]

Jeff replaced the recently-passed Chester Bennington, who had left the band in late 2015 to focus exclusively on Linkin Park. Still, Stone Temple Pilots are going to keep going. Gutt's induction was made official on Tuesday, Nov. 14 when he took the stage with STP at Los Angeles' Troubadour.

You may remember Gutt from "X-Factor" where he finished third on season 3.

If you're impressed by the vocals, you're not alone-the band searched for over a year and scoped out thousands of singers before landing on Gutt, a former member of the nu-metal band Dry Cell and recent contestant on The X Factor, reports Rolling Stone. Instead, bassist Robert DeLeo heard about Gutt after playing a show in Detroit with the supergroup Hollywood Vampires and invited Gutt to audition. "It took some time, but we found our guy", Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo said in a press release.

The upcoming album has yet to be titled, and is anticipated to be released in the Spring of 2018.

Forever 21 Investigating Credit Card Data Breach
Phil Lieberman, a cybersecurity expert says it's harder for hackers to get information from credit cards that have a chip. Despite this, it has said that the investigation now covers transactions made from March 2017 through October 2017.

Atlantic/Rhino Stone Temple Pilots have debuted their first single with new lead singer Jeff Gutt at the helm. The song is the first single recorded by the band with Gutt and will be included on a new album coming out next year.

So to say he's got some big shoes to fill is an understatement, but Gutt isn't trying to, stating no one could possibly fill a legend's shoes. Gutt played his first show with STP at the Troubadour last night, but phones weren't allowed, so there's no footage online yet. But these songs deserve to be performed and people want to hear them.

Stone Temple Pilots went through 15,000 submissions online before selecting more than 30 singers to audition in person. But he's apparently been writing songs with STP for the past year, so it'll be interesting, at the very least, to see what else they come up with.
