Motorola's new Mod is a snap-on Polaroid photo printer

In this case, the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer, which was announced earlier this year, allows you to capture a photo and print it on 2 x 3-inch ZINK paper.

While we've seen many smartphone makers try and fail to sell smartphones with "modular" hardware features, Motorola seems to have been the most successful with its Moto Mods.

On Christmas Eve, a £5 gift card sits behind door 24 - but for some lucky customers they will find a surprise £25 gift card. The cover image features the Festive Bake pastry in a Santa Claus bag and bears the greeting "Merry Greggsmas".

The Polaroid Insta-Share Printer joins an ever-growing range of Moto Mods, which so far includes the likes of a battery pack, JBL speakers, a 10x Hasselblad zoom camera and a projector. Just flip the back of the Mod open like in the image below and load it with the Zero-Ink (ZINK) paper.

The photos you print are supposedly smudge-proof and they have an adhesive back, so you can stick them up. As the name suggests, the moto mod can be attached to a compatible Motorola smartphone and used to print the pictures taken with the phone's camera while on the go. You can use it for more than just printing pictures from your camera, too. That said, theres nothing stopping you from sharing the same photo on newfangled social media – you can post it on Facebook or Instagram, for example. "My only regret is that the photos are of the 2 x 3" variety instead of the classic quasi-square format, but there's only so much you can fit on a device this small.
