Cyborg's first featherweight title defence confirmed for UFC 219

Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino will make the first defense of her women's featherweight title against former bantamweight champion Holly Holm on the card at T-Mobile Arena on December 30, UFC officials confirmed to the Review-Journal on Thursday.

UFC officials announced the matchup on Thursday evening.

With just six weeks to go until UFC 219, the Las Vegas card still doesn't have a main event.

The two mixed martial artists had been feuding on Twitter recently, seemingly laying the groundwork for this fight.

Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) Upgraded at Vetr Inc
Baird restated a buy rating and set a $58.00 target price on shares of Wells Fargo & in a research note on Tuesday, September 5th. Select Equity Group Lp increased Heico Corp New (NYSE:HEI.A) stake by 215,310 shares to 968,285 valued at $60.08B in 2017Q2.

Justino (18-1) is one of the most dominant female fighters of all time. A win over Justino would reignite her career and put her back in the spotlight. De Randamie won the fight by decision.

With the UFC struggling to get its 145-pound women's weight class up and running since it was introduced in February, the clash of Cyborg and Holm will only be the third bout to have taken place in the division.

As for "The Preachers Daughter", Holly Holm was last seen in action this past June where she scored a sensational head kick knockout victory over former bantamweight title challenger Bethe Correia.

A former world boxing champion, Holm (11-3) signed for the UFC in 2015 and caused a major upset that November by dethroning the previously undefeated bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey by second-round knockout. Holm lost her belt to Miesha Tate after taking down Rousey, but she is certainly good enough to compete with Cyborg.
