Destiny 2 players are up in arms yet again, now that the game's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, has been released: People who have not purchased the add-on are discovering that they can no longer play some of the game's high-level endgame content.

So if you're playing on Destiny 2 without the expansion, you're stuck at 305 Power Level and left out in the cold from the nice 330 endgame content. Destiny 2 has a Gold trophy called "The Prestige" which requires players to "Complete the Leviathan Raid or a Nightfall Strike on Prestige difficulty". Curse of Osiris didn't introduce any new trophies/achievements to the game.

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris also adds "Heroic" strikes, which are more hard versions of the regular strikes, and these are also locked to standard Destiny 2 players. At this time neither Bungie nor Sony have commented on the issue, but we'll update you if there are any developments.
