DCEU getting reworked following disappointment of Justice League

Naturally, hearing this from Hecker will only increase fans' desires for a Snyder cut, which could result in Warner Bros. putting out a new version of the film down the line. The report makes no mention of Johns being DC president, and says Johns still reports to DC president Diane Nelson. But "going forward, his contributions to the films may evolve, and could be more advisory in nature".

Emmerich is said to be considering folding the DC Films venture back into the main Warner Bros. film wing, and not with its own division.

The DC overhaul is expected to happen by January.

"Justice League", released last month, was beset by misfortune. The film was mauled by critics despite a star-studded cast including Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman.

The three‐year agreement will see the duo work together on online vehicle sales, artificial intelligence and transport services. The cars would then be maintained and repaired by these franchise locations.

Suicide Squad has reportedly made $745.6 million worldwide and it's looking like Justice League will at least pull close to that number over time.

Berg and Johns were intimately involved in the production. Warner Bros.is on the hunt to replace Berg and is expected to tap someone new to run point on the DC Films sector to aid Johns in his work. "Justice League" suffered from a hard birth. The studio was concerned that each subsequent film was making less money than its predecessor, and they'd noticed that the Man of Steel director was persisting with an overtly dark tone. Joss Whedon, who had been brought on the punch up the dialogue, took over directing, but studio brass recognized that so much footage had been shot already that there were limits to what could be done to improve the picture.

Zack Snyder, who directed and produced Justice League before he had to step down due to a family tragedy, will stay on as producer and exec producer of Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2. This would mean that the cinematic side of the DCEU would be housed under the same division as the rest of the studios' films, and DC would no longer have a separate building on the Warner Bros. lot.

It's also said that Warner Bros. Only "Wonder Woman", with its optimistic heroine, managed to be both a critical and a big commercial success. A solo "Aquaman" is due out in 2018 and Warners is still developing a standalone Flash adventure.
