Mario + Rabbids versus mode launches December 8

Versus Mode will be playable locally between two players (by either using two controllers or one pair of Joy-Con controllers), but will contain some surprises that are different than the main game.

In the main campaign for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, players will form a team of three unique characters, customizing their abilities via each character's dedicated skill tree to form the flawless trio.

It's a much-needed addition to the excellent single-player antics of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, so if you've got some time tomorrow and want to spend some time on your Switch, you could do a lot worse than grabbing this free update. This new mode will allow you to square off against friends on the same console.

Overwatch Winter Wonderland event is back with an exciting game mode
You'll get a good long look at the newly winter-ised Black Forest during the return of Mei's Snowball Offensive brawl. The latter features five Mei players trying to subdue a rather formidable Winston on the Nepal map.

Unlike standard gameplay modes, each player is only given three actions per turn.

Players will also be able to select either all-Rabbid or all-Mushroom Kingdom-based teams, unlike in the main game where players had to have Mario and at least one Rabbid on their team at all times. For each character, the player will choose from among three unique pre-sets, with specific statistics and skills to create their own strategy. However, a number of item boxes scattered around the map can grant you extra attacks, ability uses, or movements, as well as new power-ups such as damage bonuses and increased chances of your attacks having super effects.

Today, Ubisoft announced Versus Mode, a new local two-player game mode for Mario + Rabbids™ Kingdom Battle, free for all players on Nintendo Switch™.
