R. Kelly Mansions Burglarized, Cops On Prowl For Suspect

Georgia police announced on Wednesday that they identified a suspect who they say stole absolutely everything out of R. Kelly's two Atlanta homes while the singer was on tour, then probably sold the items off. According to Johns Creek police, a maid showed up to clean one of the singer's houses and found that "everything was gone". They were brought in for questioning.

"She found that the place had literally been ransacked", Byers said.

According to Byers, the men told police that they were hired by "Doc", a nickname for Walker, to move Kelly's belongings because the singer was getting rid of his possessions for a move from Atlanta to Chicago, Kelly's hometown.

But when contacted by police, Kelly's staff said Walker was only a part-time employee and was never told to empty out the mansions, TMZ reported.

The suspect, Alonso Walker, who Petchenik described as an "associate" of Kelly's, is now on the run from the law after missing a December 5 appointment to turn himself in on theft charges.

Police arrested Walker, but not before he allegedly sold several of Kelly's items.
