Randy Travis DWI Naked Arrest Vid Released

The dash cam video from country singer Randy Travis' 2012 DUI arrest has been released by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Travis' family has been in a long legal battle to stop the release of the footage and argued in a federal filing that it should be considered private under health record privacy regulations.

TMZ has obtained and is showing excerpts of the 3-hour documentation, including footage of Travis being led off fully naked by police and talking to officers in prurient language.

The Country Music Hall of Fame singer and Grammy victor ushered in a wave of neo-traditional singers like Alan Jackson, Clint Black and Brooks in the 1990s and had hits with songs like "Forever And Ever, Amen".

Since his arrest in 2012, Mr. Travis has been recovering from a life-threatening stroke he suffered in July 2013.

Another thing to notice is that all the catches were dropped by different fielders but at the same fielding position. At the same time, there have been injuries where openers have missed out.

The initial lawsuit was filed by media organizations to safeguard the public's constitutional right of access to public information under the Texas Public Information Act. "Take me home", Travis said in the video. The federal judge ruled that Travis failed to show a substantial likelihood of success on the claims.

A request was left Thursday with his publicist to speak to his wife, Mary Davis-Travis, who also was denied a request by the federal court to sue on his behalf. "The naked man sitting in the back of the truck is Randy Travis", one officer can be heard saying to another in the video.

The Texas attorney general agreed to redact certain portions of the footage because he was nude. The video shows the moments after he was handcuffed and put in a police vehicle.

The statement continued: "Randy is deeply apologetic for his actions that evening".
