Eight varieties of cookies are offered this year: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Savannah Smiles, gluten-free Toffe-tastic and Girl Scout S'mores.

O'Byrne from Million Dollar Baby and Jodie Turner-Smith from The Last Ship also stars as Auggie and Melantha Jhirl, respectively. Eoin Macken of " The Night Shift " and Sam Strike of " EastEnders " will respectively play Karl D'Branin and Thale.

"When someone purchases a cookie box from a Girl Scout during the cookie program, they not only buy tasty cookies but also help girls learn essential entrepreneurial skills and power new and unique experiences for them", said Lynne Fugate, chief executive officer of GSCSA.

Cookies will be delivered from February 23 to March 1. And all of the net revenue raised - 100 percent of it - stays within western Ohio.

Girl Scout cookies will go on sale starting next Saturday, January 13, and run through March 4.

But, organizers say the group is more than just about selling those famous cookies. The full lineup of the products sold this year can be found here.
