HBO Boss Teases [SPOILER] In 'Game Of Thrones' Spinoffs

Game of Thrones season 8 won't air until 2019, though that's still nothing like the delay between books as fans wait for Martin to finish the sixth in the series.

"There are five of them", HBO Programming president Casey Bloys told The Hollywood Reporter.

We also know that the final series will contain more CGI than has previously been seen, hinting that there will be a lot more screen times for Daenerys' dragons.

The head of HBO has discussed the possibility of there being a Game Of Thrones revival in the years to come. The show's penultimate season is currently available in its entirety on HBO Go and HBO Now. He continued, "We're not using the final season to launch a new show or anything like that". I don't want to cheapen it with a spinoff airing right after it.
