Big Brother viewers sensed something wasn't right in last night's episode when it was revealed that the voting lines had not been opened straight away because of the surprise twist.

In an announcement over the loudspeaker, Big Brother told housemates: "As you know it's against the rules to discuss nominations".

In a statement released to TwitCelebGossip, Channel 5 said: "We can confirm that the live final date for this series of CBB will take place on: Friday 2nd February 2018 at 9pm on Channel 5".

Andrew Brady, Ann Widdecombe, John Barnes, Maggie Oliver and Rachel Johnson are the potential evictees, as announced on tonight's highlights show.
