West Ham Continue To Back David Moyes Despite Exit Rumors

West Ham have now made their move for Evra, and whilst Everton are keen, Evra is understood to prefer a move to London, with a move to the Hammers expected to go through today.

Moyes agreed a contract until the end of the season when he replaced Slaven Bilic in November and, despite a significant upturn in results and performances, he has maintained that he has no intention of opening talks about a new deal yet.

Several outlets in the English media over the last couple of days have suggested that West Ham have no intention of moving forward with Moyes as the club's manager past this summer, with a number of tacticians having already been named as possible successors for the Scot.

And former Watford chief Marco Silva is another who had caught the eye of the club before they appointed Moyes.

He played 379 games for United between 2006 and 2014 and won nine major trophies, including five Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2008.

Cleveland Cavaliers Should Trade LeBron James, But It Won't Happen
Now, most of this is caused by James Harden , who has been sensational since returning from his injury. Obviously, Walker and Batum aren't superstars, but this is the position the Cavs find themselves in.

West Ham's 3-1 defeat to Brighton has put them back in relegation danger.

Benitez was actually close to taking over at West Ham back in 2015, before a late proposal from Real Madrid saw the experienced tactician opt to move to the Spanish capital instead.

Henry is alleged to have told agents he was not interested in signing any players from Africa because they "cause mayhem". Though they signed Jorda Hugill from Preston, they missed out on Islam Slimani and Ibrahim Amadou.

Moyes himself has been tight-lipped when discussing the future.
