Coutinho wants Neymar to re-join Barcelona

Real Madrid has always been linked with a move for the stud attacker, but one of Neymar's national teammates and close friends believes he should re-join his former club, Barcelona.

Neymar's links with Real Madrid have taken another twist after it was reported the Paris Saint-Germain star's father, Neymar Sr., has met with the Spanish club amid claims a price tag has been set for his transfer. After PSG's exit from UEFA Champions League in Round of 16, Neymar is making headlines over a possible move away to either back to FC Barcelona or their worst enemy and La Liga holders Real Madrid.

"It would be great if he came back and of course we would open the door to that".

Ivan Rakitic talked up the possibility of Neymar wearing the Barca jersey again after the weekend's 2-0 win over Malaga and Coutinho followed suit.

Barcelona is still embroiled in a financial dispute over a bonus due to Neymar last summer, which the club cancelled when it became clear he was moving to PSG.

Ex-guard dubbed 'Accountant of Auschwitz' reportedly dies before serving prison sentence
Groening was convicted and sentenced for being an accessory to murder of 300,000 Hungarian Jews at Auschwitz during World War II. One million European Jews died between 1940 and 1945 at Auschwitz before it was liberated by Soviet forces.

"With Neymar, that's life, but I have the same feelings as Rakitic", Coutinho said at the presentation of the Mediterranean International Cup.

Jose Mourinho is reportedly hoping to build a team around Neymar while Pep Guardiola is on the hunt for a potential Sergio Aguero replacement.

Neymar is now back in Brazil where he is recovering from surgery on the fractured metatarsal which forced him to miss PSG's loss to Madrid in the Champions League last Tuesday.

That figure may be double what PSG paid to sign Neymar from Barcelona in the summer, but it appears to have shaken the French outfit's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who will travel to Brazil to talk to Neymar directly.
