Weather Authority: Cooler and breezy on Tuesday

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and snow flurries develop Tuesday, with a cold high temperature of 39 degrees. Sunny, and breezy, temperatures will only top out in the low 60s and winds will build out of the northwest between 12-17 miles per hour.

Windy and chilly with clouds, some sun, and a couple of snow showers, especially in the morning. If the low can develop and track across western Montana, bands of moderate to heavy snow would be likely for mountain passes. Otherwise, most areas stay dry with mostly cloudy skies.

Clouds Monday morning will give way to sunny skies during the afternoon. Those chances for snow showers continue through the evening and into early Wednesday before tapering off.

We have already had a lot of rainfall in the last 30 hours but it looks like we have one more batch coming into the Valley. We will have some occasional showers through the weekend.

Skies will continue to clear through the evening, and those clear skies will help cools us down even more tonight, as temperatures drop into the mid-20s overnight. Scattered snow showers will be possible overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning.

Model data has removed rain chances Sunday and right now it looks to be a very pleasant weekend around SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario. Presuming you made the switch, you then enjoyed the first of many post-7 p.m. sunsets Sunday night. Highs will top out in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s.
