Josh Groban & Special Guest Idina Menzel To Play At Xcel This Fall

Singer Josh Groban has announced a fall tour with Idina Menzel that will stop in Boston.

The concerts will kick off October 18 at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia, before going on to play 17 additional cities in the US, concluding at New York's Madison Square Garden November 18.

Groban earned a Tony Award nomination for his Broadway debut as the introspective aristocrat Pierre in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812.

Groban is filming his Netflix series, "The Good Cop", with Tony Danza in NY. The opening act for the concerts will be another superstar, Idina Menzel.

The free-agent market's best running back, Dion Lewis, is also off the board, as he'll sign a four-year deal with the Titans. He's never panned out as a full-time runner, but McKinnon showed how dynamic he could be in the right situation a year ago.

"I can't wait to get back on the road and play old and new songs for my fans", said Groban.

Special guest Menzel is most well-known for lending her voice to Frozen and its uber-popular song "Let It Go". Groban and Menzel will play the TD Garden on November 9. "Creating a show each tour that gives everyone there, including me, an experience they want to hold onto".

Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m and can be purchased online at InfiniteEnergyCenter.com or at the box office. Citi cardholders have access to a presale starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday. He's also wrapping up work on his eighth album, which will be released later this year.
