Pakistan include five uncapped players in Test squad

Imam-ul-Haq, former captain and current chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq, is among the five uncapped players named in the 16-man Pakistan squad for the upcoming Test series against England and Ireland.

Imam, the 22-year-old nephew of Inzamam who made a century on his ODI debut against Sri Lanka late last year, was given a chance in the longer format of the game.

Batsmen Usman Salahuddin and Saad Ali, and all-rounder Faheem Ashraf are the other three uncapped members of the squad.

The left-handed Alam has consistently been one of the highest run-scorers in Pakistan's domestic cricket and now has 10,742 first-class runs under his belt.

SRH restrict KKR to 138/8 in 20 overs in Kolkata
Run rate drastically dropped as the Hyderabad reached to 62 for 3 at halfway mark, needing 77 from the remaining 10 overs. Last time these two sides met was in the Eliminator at Bengaluru, which KKR won by 7 wickets in a rain-curtailed match.

Inzamam-ul-Haq has said at a press conference that the World Cup next year is in England, so we have decided to make several young players a part of the England and Ireland tests to give them exposure to the conditions. Pakistan Super League's (PSL) top performer Wahab Riaz has been excluded from the national squad, while the South Asian team will also miss the services of prolific leg-spinner Yasir Shah owing to a hip injury. Attempting to make up for his absence will be Shadab Khan, who has played a solitary Test, against the Windies past year. He was our strike bowler, all the games we've won he played a big part in.

Mohammad Amir will lead a relatively inexperienced pace attack, which includes Hasan Ali, Mohammad Abbas and Rahat Ali.

Pakistan will begin their tour with a four-day warm-up match against county side Kent before taking on Ireland in a one-off test match on May 11: the first-ever played by the Irish. Pakistan will then play two Tests against England - at Lord's (May 24-28) and Headingley (June 1-5).
