Drake announces release date for Scorpion EP

The Toronto rapper posted a pair of pictures on his Instagram, with the caption "JUNE 2018" and the CD emoji directly implying a new record is on the way.

After releasing numerous singles over the past couple of months, and teasing that we would be getting some sort of project soon Drake has revealed the name and release month of the upcoming project.

OVO Sound boss Drake has officially started his album countdown. The jacket he's wearing sports the words "Scorpion", "June 2018" and "by Drake".

Drake recently released a video for "Nice For What" that celebrates the women of the world, featuring cameos from the likes of Olivia Wilde, Issa Rae and more.

Sun, Rain and Snow; Three Days of Weather!
In the meantime, well below average weather continues but at least it is better than the 30s we have to start off the work week. Breezy west winds, gusting over 30 miles per hour will make it feel like it's in the 20s, the weather service forecast shows.

His new single "Nice For What" - assumedly from Scorpion - just took over "God's Plan" for the #1 spot on the US Billboard Charts.

His song "God's Plan" topped the U.S. singles chart for 11 weeks - until being dethroned Monday by another of his songs, "Nice for What".

Drake, 31, has roots as a rapper but has increasingly gone in a pop direction and incorporated the infectious beats of Jamaican dancehall, most notably on his hit "One Dance", which is the second most-streamed song ever on Spotify.
