These Lethal Weapon Fans Really Aren't Here for Clayne Crawford's Replacement

The acting and fan community has begun circling the wagons around Clayne Crawford, who was officially ousted from Lethal Weapon today and replaced by Seann William Scott.

News of Crawford's firing was announced on Wednesday, and followed reports that the 40-year-old actor had been disciplined for unspecified bad behaviour, including "emotional abuse" and "creating a hostile environment".

"Seann is a fantastic addition to this already wonderful cast", Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn said Sunday before Monday's Upfront presentations.

"Lethal Weapon" is produced by Warner Bros.

Crawford, who stars opposite Damon Wayans as Roger Murtaugh, has been fired from the series due to his unprofessional behavior on set, The Hollywood Reporter noted, citing sources.

Conte: Chelsea better off than when I arrived
I think we must give a best compliment to Huddersfield for this result. Conte said: "To lose Michael, it was a big loss for us". In any job, after one season, you've learned a lot.

Clayne Crawford's future on Lethal Weapon is still up in the air and he's not happy about it. It's not clear at this point which character he will play, but it does sound like it will be a new character who pairs up with Murtaugh.

FOX has made a decision to renew its action drama series Lethal Weapon for a third season, but it's not exactly that cut and dry. His starring role in Lethal Weapon season three will be Scott's first time taking on a network series regular role.

Studio Warner Bros. issued a statement declaring Crawford's contract was not picked up for the third season. "Matt Miller, his incredible team and everyone at Warner Bros. have been tremendous partners, and we're thrilled to bring this show back for another season".

Based on the movie franchise, Lethal Weapon co-stars Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney and Michelle Mitchenor. The first two seasons are available to stream on Hulu. Recently seen in Super Troopers 2, he is repped by ICM Partners. Miller, Dan Lin, Jennifer Gwartz, and McG serve as executive producers.

The one-hour Fox drama is an adaptation of the "Lethal Weapon" film franchise, which starred Danny Glover and Mel Gibson. Television in association with Lin Pictures and Good Session Productions.
