"We have always said that we want to make top quality sport available to more people".

But they've chose to give away the game in Kiev on May 26 for free. BT also confirmed that the clash will be broadcast for free too.

And, thanks to BT Sport, you'll be able to watch both matches for free online.

TV3 and Virgin Media will dominate Irish TV coverage of the Champions League and Europa League for the next three seasons.

Who's your money on to win for the UEFA Champions League Final?

The same applies to the Europa League final, which takes place tomorrow night (Wednesday 16 May) and sees (look away now, Arsenal fans) Atletico Madrid take on Marseille in Lyon.

For subscribers, the game is being screened on BT Sport 2, BT Sport 2 HD and in 4K on the BT Sport UHD channel.

If Virgin does opt to stream some matches exclusively online it will represent a further move towards such a system in football, with Facebook and Amazon both already having made tentative - but so far unsuccessful - moves towards the Premier League market.
