Glover's wife arrested for allegedly attacking his mother

In a police report obtained by TMZ, Lucas Glover, victor of the 2009 PGA U.S. Open, was attacked along with his mother by his wife Krista.

According to a police report, Glover and his wife, Krista, got into some sort of altercation after the third round of The Players Championship in Florida, where Glover shot 78.

Lucas, the report says, told deputies his wife gets violent every time he doesn't play well in a major PGA tournament. Deputies also noted lacerations on the arms of both Lucas and his mother, Hershey Glover, who also had blood on her clothes.

Glover, who won the 2009 U.S. Open, married Krista in 2012. As she was being arrested, Mrs. Glover reportedly turned her anger toward police, resisting arrest as they were attempting to put her in the squad vehicle.

She allegedly tried to wrap her legs and feet around the frame of the open auto door, and once inside, Krista allegedly damaged the vehicle by kicking the door.

Lucas Glover asked fans to respect his family's privacy "as we work through this situation".

Police reportedly saw abrasions and other injuries on Hershey Glover when they arrived to arrest Krista Glover.

When Glover's 62-year-old mother intervened, his wife "redirected her anger and the altercation" from him to her.

Rihanna's intruder charged with felony
The man who was arrested inside Rihanna's home, where he was waiting to "have sex" with her, is now facing 3 felony charges. Leon is from Fullerton, Calif., which is about an hour and a half from the singer's home.

He told deputies his wife had been drinking throughout the day Saturday.

Police said Conley Glover "resisted" being brought to the patrol auto and being placed inside, including an attempt to "wrap her legs and feet around the door and frame of the vehicle".

While transporting Krista Glover to the jail, she allegedly continued screaming and told the deputies "wait till the tour hears about this, you will lose your job".

She faces a May 31 court date on misdemeanor charges of domestic violence battery and resisting arrest without violence.

The golfer reportedly attempted to talk police out of arresting his wife and subsequently released a statement defending her, as reported by the New York Post.

Lucas took to Twitter Tuesday to acknowledge there was argument and that "everyone is fine".

"Regrettably, although Krista was charged, we are comfortable that the judicial system is able to address what actually happened", the statement said in part.
