School officials suspended her after receiving an anonymous tip about a past police report involving DelTondo and an underage boy who did not attend Pennsylvania Cyber, the school's CEO Brian Hayden told Fox News.

Her neighbours paid tribute to her and spoke of their shock at the violent episode in the aftermath of DelTondo's death. "I really don't", added Dan Casper, another neighbor. She had told police the boy had called her because "he was upset and needed someone to take to".

Rachael DelTondo, 32, was shot dead standing on her mother's driveway on Sunday.

According to reports, an anonymous October email tipped off school officials to the 2016 incident.

Aliquippa police and the Beaver County district attorney met Tuesday morning to discuss the investigation regarding the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Rachael DelTondo.

The report said no charges were filed in the incident.

The County Coroner's Office for Beaver County has ruled that the death was definitely a murder and that she died as a result of multiple gunshots to the chest.

She defended herself at the time by saying that the pair were just talking and that the teen was no longer a student. Police are still searching for the suspect and are actively investigating the incident as a homicide, WPXI reported.

The report stated that officers were on patrol at around 1.50am on February 6, 2016, when they saw a auto parked near the old Aliquippa Hospital.

The email included the police report and a note that DelTondo and the teen had a "relationship" over text messages and Snapchat messages. However, investigators have not revealed information about the case at this time.

The leak led to a state investigation of the Aliquippa Police Department, and DelTondo cooperated with that investigation, CBS News reported.

Brian Hayden, chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, said he was "saddened" by the death.

The unredacted police report is believed to have contained personally identifying information that is not readily available to the public through open records releases, including parties' social security numbers.

CBS Pittsburgh met DelTondo past year when she was the subject of a CBS Pittsburgh report as a bride-to-be in a dispute over her custom wedding dress. "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing".

Though known in local media outlets for her dispute with her wedding dress designer, Rachael DelTondo was once a teacher.

The family, who had already put down a $4,600 non-refundable deposit, told the salon they would like to pay the balance and receive the dress so they could sell it, but said the designer never delivered the gown and refused to refund their deposit.

"Nobody, including Ms. Deltondo, the Aliquippa Police Department, the juvenile male or his family, or any other person or agency had informed PA Cyber of this or any other incident". Their wedding was canceled a few months after she was found in the vehicle with the student, but before her name was made public.
