WOW Air Is Launching $199 Flights From the United States to India

The route will provide millions of Americans in nine major cities across the country affordable access to the bustling Indian metropolis.

Wow Air made the announcement about the fare on May 15, as it launched flights from the Indian capital to multiple destinations that are a part of its worldwide route in North America and Europe.

WOW air will use Airbus A330neo aircraft on the Delhi route offering at least 37 inches of legroom to flyers.

To promote the India service, Wow Air is offering $199 one-way fares from St. Louis to Delhi.

WOW air, Iceland's low-fare transatlantic airline, announced the launch of its flight operations in India beginning on December 7, 2018.

Wow Air, which plans to fly its new Airbus A330neo aircraft to Delhi, will have to compete with Middle Eastern carriers such as Emirates and Etihad Airways that now dominate passenger traffic from India to the West.
