A new Diablo game is in the works

Blizzard is looking for a skilled Dungeon Artist for a "growing" team of developers, and there are several references to the "dark gothic" world of Diablo, but not many clues about anything else.

The Diablo games are probably the best dungeon crawlers on the market today, and it's good and, well, pretty obvious that Blizzard will continue the franchise.

According to PC Gamer, Diablo designer David Brevik said a year ago: "If they do a Diablo 2 Remaster, it's going to be hard to make it feel exactly like the same game".

A job listing for a Dungeon Artist on Blizzard's website indicates that the studio is working on a new Diablo project.

While details of what the project exactly is are vague, most of the listings say that "the minions of Hell are growing stronger...", and explicitly state that Blizzard is "working on a new, unannounced Diablo project".

Deutsch said that the site learned of the breach only yesterday after an unnamed security researcher contacted the company.

So it's possible that the major new unannounced Diablo project could be that Diablo 2 remake. "Come work with us, and together we will build something exceptional".

Blizzard has not announced any new Diablo games to date, although this isn't the first job opening to suggest one might be in the works.

Is it Diablo IV? In a statement to PC Gamer, a Blizzard representative said, "We're always exploring different ideas at Blizzard".

We'd definitely love for this to be a Diablo 4, though. Naturally, we'll keep you updated with any news as it breaks.
