Just Cause 4 leaked and a new IP revealed by Avalanche Studios

Another rumored game seems to be confirmed, as Valve apparently pushed an ad to Steam users for the as-yet-unannounced Just Cause 4.

E3 is nearly here and we got yet another leak with the reveal of Just Cause 4 from a pre-purchase ad on Steam showing the latest installment of the open-world action adventure series.

We reviewed Just Cause 3 on PS4 back in January 2016 following its launch in December 2015. The last month has been an absolutely wild one for leaks, at this point you've got to wonder what surprises will be left for E3. The ad features a picture of Just Cause protagonist Rico Rogriguez underneath a stormy sky, requesting that users "Pre-Purchase Now".

With yesterday's announcement of Generation Zero, the co-op open world shooter game self-published by Avalanche Studios, one could have thought the developers had their hands full between that game and Rage 2. This time it's Just Cause 4.

The statement did not clarify whether the "partner force member" was part of the Somali or Kenyan armed forces. But the extremist group still carries out suicide attacks across Somalia.

What can we expect from Just Cause 4? Although the success of Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 changed publisher Square Enix's mind and chose to pursue a single-player mode for the game.

It's unclear if the game will release this year or next, but it's definitely coming.

The second announcement was all business as Nordisk film, a Denmark-based entertainment subsidiary, announced it had acquired Avalanche Studios.

Avalanche Studios have a lot of projects going on right now.
