Reese Witherspoon confirms ‘Legally Blonde 3’

The "Legally Blonde" franchise followed a perpetually positive Woods as she pursued a law degree at Harvard University and then later a career in politics. "It's true..." she wrote in the Twitter caption, three days after a report surfaced that MGM was in talks with Witherspoon to bring back the series. Reese Witherspoon has confirmed that the rumours are true - she will be back for Legally Blonde 3.

Third time's a charm for Elle Woods.

Even though it's been 17 years since the Bend and Snap first entered all of our lives, the impact of the Legally Blonde movies is still felt to this day, and no one knows this better than Witherspoon. The second season of the latter is also now in production with Witherspoon reprising her role as Madeline Makenzie alongside Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, and Zoe Kravitz. The sequel starred Sally Field, Luke Wilson and many others.

The Gujarat Pollution Control Board, despite criticism from the high court, is not equipped to deal with plastic pollution. Up to five trillion plastic bags are used each year, and 13 million tonnes of plastic leaks into the oceans annually.

The actress is a pro when it comes to social media, so her savvy announcement of the new Legally Blonde film shouldn't be a surprise.

It doesn't get anymore official than when it comes from Reese Witherspoon herself.

The actress recently talked to "CBS This Morning" about her transition into production and said, "There was one moment where I read this script that came in and my agent sent it to me, and it was just terrible and I called my agent, I said, "I'm not gonna do this". She was last seen setting her eyes on the White House, so maybe she'll be Madame President by the time the third film comes out?
