Search for exotic eats brought Anthony Bourdain to the wilds of Maine

Asia Argento, actress and girlfriend of late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, has made a statement about his death.

Bourdain was found "unresponsive" in a hotel in Strasbourg, France, CNN announced in a statement.

Bourdain became an outspoken advocate for the #MeToo movement after Argento revealed she had been sexually assaulted by the movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

One of the most influential chefs in the world, Anthony Bourdain was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He is survived by an 11-year-old daughter, Ariane Bourdain.

Which is why he is so dumbfounded that Bourdain would take his own life. "If you're commenting on how crunchy-delicious your salad is while your host is missing two limbs, you might want to ask them how that happened, and often you will get a story that's far more interesting than what's on your plate".

It was a lifestyle that, while undeniably glamorous, took a toll, he suggested in a 2017 New Yorker profile. I actually wrote about the experience as one of the very first posts on BrokeAssStuart.com.

"His most important contribution to food was that he liberated a whole generation of chefs", said Manu Chandra, chef partner of Monkey Bar, The Fatty Bao and Toast & Tonic. "His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds".

Warriors and Cavs Refuse to Visit White House - Katie Zehnder
On Tuesday, LeBron James said neither his Cavaliers nor the Warriors would accept a visit as a victor of the NBA Finals . On Tuesday, reporters asked Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James for his thoughts on the Trump/Eagles imbroglio.

For nearly two decades, Bourdain's star had been soaring to great heights, starting with a book that exposed the dark side of the restaurant industry - Kitchen Confidential, Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly. Then we chatted for a little while about making TV shows. He was my love, my rock, my protector.

"Every time the show airs we get an influx of visitors from the USA and other parts of Canada", he said.

I only met Anthony Bourdain twice.

Bourdain was born in New York City and was raised in Leonia, New Jersey.

He authored several books, including "No Reservations: Around the World on an Empty Stomach", "Kitchen Confidential" and "A Cook's Tour". The chef joined them for a meal at Tibetan restaurant Lhasa Fast Food, located at 37-50 74th Street and chatted about the community. "While it's been nothing but good for business ... few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs". Anthony Bourdain felt like an outsider, like he'd seen things you weren't ready for.

In the Parts Unknown episode, Bourdain remarked that Queens was a flawless lesson for the rest of the nation on the importance of diversity.
