Respawn Entertainment Announces Jedi: Fallen Order, Coming Holiday 2019

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set for release in Holiday 2019, next year, so fans have a year and a half to speculate on further details and wait for more announcements. The final and most likely scenario is a look at (or at least that "juicy little tidbit" about) Respawn's Star Wars game.

Zampella teased that players will step into the shoes of a Jedi on the run. The project is being headed up by God of War's Stig Asmussen and will be a third-person action title rather than an RPG like KOTOR, which to me is only slightly disappointing.

Electronic Arts has the first press briefing of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. The previously untitled game is officially dubbed Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and will hit store shelves during the holiday 2019 season. You'll be playing as a Jedi and of course, able to wield a lightsaber. Respawn definitely knows how to create an addictive game so the franchise seems to be in good hands.

The World War II shooter got a new multiplayer trailer and some interesting but unsurprising news: It will have a Battle Royale mode.

Since the company officially obtained the video game rights to the Star Wars IP every release and been loaded with controversy. This pretty much confirms that the player character is the Padawan around which the story is confirmed to turn, and it's hardly extrapolating from that to imagine we get to play with force powers.
