E3 2018: Every Reveal from the EA E3 Conference

To beat them you will be suiting up in a Javelin, one of four different exoskeletons that protect you from the harsh environment. The trailer released by EA didn't specify too much about the gameplay but we shall learn more about that soon enough.

EA has made a similar promise for the upcoming "Battlefield V" at the conference held Saturday. Although the game will support both solo and co-op play, it will not offer an offline mode and will require an always-online connection in order to be played. They have taken a step back, overhauled the progression and changed all loot boxes to cosmetic items only, adding a new hunt mode which has been hugely popular so far, and are now in the process of updating the squad system to improve they way the game is played.

This will most certainly change the Alex Hunter story mode along with other career modes in the game.

Today I think we had a couple of small lock ups, but as you continue to push the setup there are areas that can be affected. Mercedes were first out in Q3 and smashed the records, Bottas topping Hamilton in 1:10.857 before Vettel beat that.

The game has been announced to release February 22, 2019. They also debuted a number of visual Javelin customization options, noting that vanity items, but no gameplay altering items, will be available for purchase as non-loot box micro-transactions. EA hasn't gone anywhere near the concept of stat-altering loot yet, but at least we know we'll be able to look rad. The game has a singleplayer hub so that gamers can advance the story at their own pace, surrounded by a shared multiplayer world for everyone to shoot and jetpack their way through. Before opening the event to fans and media alike for the next three days, the publisher hosted a conference to showcase some of their most noteworthy titles like Anthem, Unravel Two, and Battlefield V.

When it was released in 2016, the original Unravel game was a visual delight. With the lack of reveals that weren't expected, other than the new Star Wars game - which didn't even include an actual reveal - and the Clone Wars expansion for Star Wars Battlefront II, the rest was all sort of just. meh.

One of the indie titles that got time on stage is called Sea of Solitude and it's from a German studio called Jo-Mei Games and it will launch in early 2019. A few things were already known to showcase at EA's press conference such as Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 and Battlefield 5.
